History: 1927
Designed by Cuthbert & Cuthbert and completed in 1927, 2 West Michigan Avenue was originally built as part of the growing automobile industry ecosystem.
The Main Floor: A showroom for Pontiac Stabler vehicles, put on display for the public.
The Ground Floor: A repair shop where colleagues worked side by side to collaborate, build, and reimagine the future of transportation.
The Top Floor: Offices where administrators oversaw daily operations and transactions on the showroom floor below.
The Front Terrace: Home to the Dixie Gas Station, serving both drivers and the community.
From its earliest days, 2 West Michigan Avenue brought together product, service, and community under one roof. Nearly a century later, the building will continue that legacy as it evolves for the music and arts ecosystem.
